Patriot's Day (FREEBIE!)

Tomorrow is Patriot's Day. Tomorrow is a day that those of us who witnessed 9/11 by TV or phone call, or in person will never forget. It was a day when we were able to put aside political  ideas,  and stand as One Country. Tomorrow I will take time, as I do each day, to be proud of being a United States citizen by pledging allegiance to the flag. I also teach my students the National Anthem. I like to introduce my students to the National Anthem on Patriot's Day. I would love to share my copy of the Pledge and the National Anthem with you. I hope that you will take a moment to be proud to be an American with me! I will never forget and I pray that my children's children will grow up with the freedoms and rights that I take for granted.

This is the complete Pledge!

Here is a puzzle to put the basic sight words back into the Pledge!
Click the picture if you'd like a copy.

  1. What a wonderful, uplifting post! I almost bought a Pledge poster to put near my flag, but I will proudly and gratefully hang this lovely one you made instead:) Thanks!

  3. Today always makes me feel a little sick to my stomach. I don't think any of us who watched it live will ever forget the horror of that day.
