There is no tired like first day teacher tired. You have planned. You have dreamed, or nightmared. You have done this a million times or maybe only ten times or maybe this is your first year. In a few short hours it is over. What was so scary about a classroom full of children who are like sponges; ready to soak up information, love and words.  Good night, dear readers! Tonight my dreams are filled with bright eyes, sticky hugs and hope that tomorrow goes as well as today.
I would like to thank the person who came up with the idea of putting
playdough on students desks before they arrive.
Anchor chart on how to use the bathroom. What is that thing on the top of the toilet? I don't know go ask your dad!

  1. Congrats on making it through your first day! I bet your kids were blessed and had an amazing day!

  2. I love the anchor chart!!!! There are days that I think I could use one like it in my home :)

  3. There is no tired like first day tired, that's for sure! First week tired is pretty bad too (even if it's only three days). And falling asleep on the couch at 8 pm on Friday night of the first week is COMPLETELY necessary. hahaha :)
