Thanks, Mom!

I can thank my mom for instilling a love of books that knows no bounds. She read all the time and read to all six of her children as we grew up. (Some of us are still growing up!) My warmest memories involve curling up with a book and her. I can remember how thrilled I was when she let me take books to bed with me during my naps! I miss my mom, but feel blessed that she lived to read to all three of my children! If she were alive today, I think she might even enjoy this book...

My students adored this book! They all drew a picture of an animal in underpants when we were done reading the book. Underpants and boys are always a hit!!

I was introduced to this book last week by my school's Book Fair Chair...that would be me! I love the Book Fair...Lots of books and chances to make sure everyone in the school gets a book. My students have asked me to read this book over and over and each time they share their belly laughs with me. Who doesn't love hearing the laughter of children?!
